Ridley Scott Talks Blade Runner and Alien Sequels

Ridley Scott has been hard at work breathing new life into two of his most popular franchises.  Even though Prometheus did not perform well at the box office and received mixed reviews, Scott insisted that a second one was in the works that will continue the Aliens franchise.  While talk of a Prometheus sequel grabbed the headlines, Scott also spoke with Yahoo Movies about Blade Runner 2 (no official title yet) that is also in the works.

Enchanted Sequel Still in the Works

For years Disney’s bread and butter was their animated features that leaned heavily on the princess stories.  Even with the acquisition of Pixar, Lucasfilm and Marvel this is still true as evidenced by the long list of live action adaptations of those animated classics that are in the pipeline.  That doesn’t mean that Disney will avoid original material or continued building on their franchises, however.  One such example is the long-gestating sequel to their 2007 hit Enchanted that toyed with the conventions of animated princesses by importing one into the real world.  Collider is now reporting that there may be some movement on the sequel.

Chris Evans Talks About the Reason for the Team Split in Civil War

With all the new pouring out from Warner Bros. hyping Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice coming out next year, Captain America: Civil War has flown relatively under the radar.  Most likely Marvel/Disney will wait until after Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released before they begin their marketing push, but even before that there are a few things we know about the upcoming movie.  We know which characters will make up each side of the fight, Disney/Marvel released footage at the Asia Pop event last week, and unverified info regarding Spider-Man’s role in the movie has been circulating online.

Trailer for The Twilight Zone

Check out the trailer from the revival of The Twilight Zone, hosted and narrated by Jordan Peele (Us, Get Out).  The show will premiere with two episodes April 1 on CBS All Access and then Thursday nights beginning April 11.
