Colonel Quaritch Confirmed as Villain in Avatar Sequels

Other than stating there will be 4 Avatar sequels and that the release date has been delayed again from the announced December 2018 date, not much has been revealed regarding the story of the future Avatar films.  However, in an interview with Empire (via Coming Soon), writer-director James Cameron stated that we’ll see the return of Stephen Lang’s Colonel Miles Quaritch as the main villain across the full 4 films.

So we’ve known since the post-credit scene of Deadpool that Cable would be appearing in the sequel, but this week saw the first look at what Josh Brolin will look like as the character.  This follows on the heels of the recent pictures of Zazie Beetz as Domino.  Both original photos were posted on Ryan Reynolds’ Twitter page.  Check out the images below and share your thoughts.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Trailer
