Carrie Fisher’s Advice to Daisy Ridley About Fame After Star Wars

The release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is going to be an event.  Due to the unparalleled popularity of the Star Wars franchise (and the return of original trilogy characters, the Disney hype machine behind marketing, no major competition, and other factors), The Force Awakens will likely lay claim to largest opening weekend and possibly even highest grossing domestic and worldwide film of all time.  In addition to the box office, Star Wars has one of the largest and most passionate fan bases.  The returning stars have dealt with this fame all their lives, but the new stars that the current trilogy will center around are going to experience a phenomenon unlike anything they could have imagined when they sought out acting as a profession.  Fortunately for them they had the original cast to help prepare them for what lies ahead.

Pom Klementieff’s Character in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Rumors of Vision’s Role in Civil War

Some Marvel movie news for you: Yesterday we learned that Pom Klementieff (Oldboy remake) has been cast in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.  It has not been confirmed who exactly she will be playing, but Deadline reports that their sources are pointing to Mantis.  In the comics Mantis has been a member of both the Guardians and Avengers and, if the news is true, will likely be the new member of the team that has been hinted at by director James Gunn.  Here’s a quick rundown on the character courtesy of Screen Rant:

Check out the trailer from the revival of The Twilight Zone, hosted and narrated by Jordan Peele (Us, Get Out).  The show will premiere with two episodes April 1 on CBS All Access and then Thursday nights beginning April 11.
